An ultra-smooth and easy drinking whisky, perfect for sharing with friends. This 12 year old blend includes higher proportions of Strathisla and Longmorn Single Malts and was created as a fitting tribute to the famously smooth blending style of John and James Chivas.
It was at the beginning of the 19th Century that blending pioneers James and John Chivas, two brothers from Aberdeen in Scotland, first combined different matured whiskies to create a unique ‘house’ character. Blending some of the finest maturing malt and grain Scotch whiskies, James and John were able to achieve consistently good results, setting a standard that would be handed down through generations.
In 1909, Chivas Brothers made distilling history by creating the world’s first luxury Scotch whisky – a 25 year old blend called Chivas Regal. This sophisticated whisky has since become an international legend.
Today, the guardian of the exceptional quality and famously consistent character of Chivas Regal is Master Blender Colin Scott, who has been involved with Chivas Brothers for more than 30 years – 20 of them in his present role.
Chivas Regal is an exceptional blended Scotch whisky made of hand-selected malt and grain whiskies.
